In terms of Sections 37, 38 and 39 of the Environmental Assessment Act, Cap 65:07 No. 10 of EAPB’s mandate is to register and certify environmental assessment practitioners (EAPs).
For one to be considered for registration and certification they have to submit the following documents:
- Cover letter (detailing how they meet the requirements for the level applied for e.g. educational qualifications, experience in EIAs, and competencies);
- Completed Application Form for Certification (please ensure that the declaration is signed);
- Completed CV Template for Consultants;
- Certified Copies of Qualification Certificates;
- Certified Copies of ID for citizens; and Passport, Residence and Work Permits for non-citizens;
- Proof of Payment of Applicable Fees (use applicant’s name as reference when depositing the fees otherwise the fees will not be traceable to you)
Important note: 12 copies of the above should be submitted by the dates tabulated below, with the original marked ‘Original‘ and copies marked ‘Copies.’
